About the Programme:
This Adventure training programme introduces our patrons to great outdoors. This programme will enable you to be able to understand the outdoors better and learn various tricks to survive in the wilderness. After completion of this programme you will be a completely changed personality and will also attain a better understanding of the outdoors and become confident enough to lead people to outdoors. We assure you that you will become a completely different person for good.

Day 01: Arrival at Manali and transfer to Base camp. Freshen up, breakfast and then after registration. Group gathering and briefing. Check the bags and shortlist the equipment and gears. Issue of equipment from the camp store. Trekking planning session. Lunch. Post lunch shopping time for the personal and group food, equipment and group discussion. Late evening arrive camp and pack stuff. Relax. Retire to bed after Dinner.

Day 02: early morning distribution of the food and equipment and then pack the rucksacks. Post breakfast start the trek to our pre selected higher jungle camp site for further training. Camp setting and organizing other necessary things. Evening debriefing and chalk out the plan of action for the rest of the days.

Day 03: Ropes and knots, Anchor and belays, rappelling and rock climbing. Theory and practical both.

Day 04: Fire making, Shelter making and basics of self cooking sessions.

Day 05: discussing various wilderness scenarios that may come your way and ways to overcome them. Rescue and evacuation Training.

Day 06: lectures on mental fitness and then post lunch collapse the tents and people will have to make shelter, make fire and cook food and spend the night out under the open sky.

Day 07: morning gather up at the camp ground and pack all the stuff and trek down to the base camp. Deposit the equipment issued. Evening free for market. Sit by the bonfire at dinner, discussions and distribution of certificates. Sing and dance. Programme ends.

Day 08: Programme ends after serving the breakfast.

Inclusions:

  • Bus stand to base camp and vice versa transportation
  • Trainers, Guides, Cook and assistants, all other training equipment required, sleeping bags, mattresses, tents, Ruck Sack, kitchen staff.
  • Meal: Indian, Tibetan, Chinese, local cuisine is served; we particularly keep our attention towards variety, hygienic preparation and nutrition, on such high altitude camps.
  • Oxygen cylinder & Basic medical kit at higher camp.
  • Camping charges.

Exclusions:

  • Jackets, Trousers, Trekking shoes and walking polls.
  • Cost Risen due to rescue, evacuation, hospitalization, etc.
  • Any change in the itinerary, stay on account of flight/train cancellation due to bad weather, ill health and road block etc... Factors which are beyond our control.
  • Mules or porters to carry personal baggage
  • Any other expense not mentioned in the "Inclusions" column.

Essentials:

  • Wear comfortable full cotton/thermal casual to track/cargo pants.
  • Wear good waterproof trekking shoes.
  • Warm and waterproof jacket is a must.
  • All the patrons will have to carry their bags so kindly bring rucksacks and not trolleys.

Don't forget to carry your backpack with:

  • Sun hat or cap
  • Sunglasses.(UV protective)
  • Sun screen lotion(SPF30+)
  • Cold Cream.
  • Head lamp or Torch (With Extra Batteries)
  • Chocolates and dry fruits as pocket snacks.
  • Water bottle with water (minimum3ltrperperson,perday)
  • Toilet Paper & kit.
  • Personal Photo Identity(Compulsory)
  • Personal Medication(if any)
  • Note book & Pen
  • Camera with sufficient batteries and film/memory cards(optional)
  • Binoculars (optional)

Basic points to keep in mind for an enjoyable excursion

  • You have to carry your rucksack and please get your stuff accordingly. And we will also issue some common training equipment that you have to carry as well. No porter back up will be available.
  • Nature is fun to explore but not a toy to exploit. Respect its harmony and maintain the balance needed to retain its beauty and treasures. Please abide the specific guidelines we share with you on the trip.
  • This trip is not a regular excursion with family and friends. It is a serious adventure as it unlocks the wonderful world of nature and brings its magic alive. Do choose the trip if you can handle the adverse situation with a smile. You also have to be mentally as well as physically fit.
  • Like all outdoor trips, this one requires basic fitness. Also, you will be responsible for taking care of your personal belongings.
  • Your experience of the trip depends on a lot of factors like the climatic conditions, your health conditions and the overall physical terrain.

Disclosures on medical conditions

  • It is mandatory that you visit your personal physician before enrolling for the trip if you suffer from any illness of any kind. Please disclose any medical condition/history to the organizers of the Programme so that the best possible arrangements can be carried out post approval.
  • As organizers of the Camp, we will be responsible for providing basic first aid throughout the trip. In case of unexpected mishaps or accidents, we will arrange for the injured patron to be taken to the nearest medical hospital wherever possible. The medical expenses will have to be borne by the patrons themselves.

Note:

  • Eligibility for this Outdoor trip is 18-30 years,
  • We will try out best to follow the itinerary of the trip shared with you but bear in mind those factors out of our control that may change the schedule.

Please note that your leader has the authority to amend or cancel any part of the itinerary if it is deemed necessary due to safety concerns. Every effort will be made to keep to the above itinerary; however, since this adventure entails travelling in remote mountainous regions, we cannot guarantee that we will not deviate from it. Weather conditions, health condition of a group member, unexpected natural disasters, etc., can all contribute to changes in the itinerary. The leader will try to ensure that the trip runs according to plan, but please be prepared to be flexible if required.
