About the Programme:
Whether you are novice climber or just getting yourself off the ground, we have a climb around camp to match your experience level. Our Rock Climbing Camps are usually on the base of the Rock Field and create a supportive, friendly environment in which campers can challenge themselves on vertical adventures while developing new skills. At our camp, campers literally reach new heights. We offer rock climbing every day at multiple sites, giving campers the opportunity to develop strength and skill while having fun exploring different climbs. We have refined our program to include the perfect mix of instruction and climbing time while campers hang out with like-minded friends at the rocks each day. Our climbing instructors are focused on safety, skill development, personal challenge, and fun. Our experienced instructors are detail-oriented and have all been certified in rock-craft, general safety and camper specific instruction during our pre-camp staff training. They are passionate about it and excited to share that passion with our campers. Most importantly, they create an atmosphere of safety so that campers feel supported to challenge themselves on new routes.

Day 01: Arrival, allotting of tents, registration, lunch, free till tea. After tea, Lecture on Ropes & Knots. Knot practice session. Overnight stay in camp.

Day 02: After breakfast move to rock field for Rock Climbing & Rappelling. Late Lunch at camp. After tea lecture on Do's & Don'ts. Overnight stay in camp.

Day 03: After breakfast move to rock field for Rock Climbing & Rappelling. Late Lunch at camp. Free till tea. Types of hold, jamming, pressure techniques.

Day 04: Anchor, Belay, rock Rescue. After tea test of Ropes & Knots has been taught. Overnight stay in camp.

Day 05: After breakfast Deposit equipments issued. Lunch. Pack the bags and leave Camp (Manali) for onward journey.

Inclusions:

• Boarding & lodging in tents on sharing basis.
• Technical and community - use equipment.
• Supervision and inspection by qualified trainers.
• Any Transportation involved.

Exclusions:

• Any other travel cost.
• Bus stand to camp and camp to bus stand transfers/transportation
• Cost of any form of insurance, rescue, evacuation, hospitalization, etc.
• Costs incurred due to delays in arrival/departure of any means of transportation resulting from landslides, floods, or other natural or man-made causes over which MANUTOURISMCOOP has no control.

Camp Details:

• Tents Alpine tents near the rock field
• Occupancy: Double Sharing
• Dining Tent Shelter with folding chairs and tables
• Toilets Tent with manual Dry pit
• Food vegetarian, hygienic and nutritious. Onsite Kitchen with Chef

NOTE:

• The Participation fee is from Manali to Manali.
• No refund in case of bad weather.

Essentials:

• Wear comfortable full cotton/thermal casual to track/cargo pants.
• Wear good waterproof trekking shoes.
• Warm and waterproof jacket is a must.
• All the patrons will have to carry their bags so kindly bring rucksacks and not trolleys.

Don't forget to carry your backpack with:

• Sun hat or cap
• Sunglasses.(UV protective)
• Sun screen lotion(SPF30+)
• Cold Cream.
• Head lamp or Torch (With Extra Batteries)
• Chocolates and dry fruits as pocket snacks.
• Water bottle with water (minimum3ltrperperson,perday)

Basic points to keep in mind for an enjoyable excursion

• You have to carry your rucksack and please get your stuff accordingly. And we will also issue some common training equipment that you have to carry as well. No porter back up will be available.
• Nature is fun to explore but not a toy to exploit. Respect its harmony and maintain the balance needed to retain its beauty and treasures. Please abide the specific guidelines we share with you on the trip.
• This trip is not a regular excursion with family and friends. It is a serious adventure as it unlocks the wonderful world of nature and brings its magic alive. Do choose the trip if you can handle the adverse situation with a smile. You also have to be mentally as well as physically fit.
• Like all outdoor trips, this one requires basic fitness. Also, you will be responsible for taking care of your personal belongings.
• Your experience of the trip depends on a lot of factors like the climatic conditions, your health conditions and the overall physical terrain.

Disclosures on medical conditions

• It is mandatory that you visit your personal physician before enrolling for the trip if you suffer from any illness of any kind. Please disclose any medical condition/history to the organizers of the Programme so that the best possible arrangements can be carried out post approval.
• As organizers of the Camp, we will be responsible for providing basic first aid throughout the trip. In case of unexpected mishaps or accidents, we will arrange for the injured patron to be taken to the nearest medical hospital wherever possible. The medical expenses will have to be borne by the patrons themselves.

Note:

• Eligibility for this Outdoor trip is 18-30 years,
• We will try out best to follow the itinerary of the trip shared with you but bear in mind those factors out of our control that may change the schedule.

Please note that your leader has the authority to amend or cancel any part of the itinerary if it is deemed necessary due to safety concerns. Every effort will be made to keep to the above itinerary; however, since this adventure entails travelling in remote mountainous regions, we cannot guarantee that we will not deviate from it. Weather conditions, health condition of a group member, unexpected natural disasters, etc., can all contribute to changes in the itinerary. The leader will try to ensure that the trip runs according to plan, but please be prepared to be flexible if required.
