Day-1 Arrival
Arrival and transfer to camp. Allotment of tents, Freshen up, briefing and then short hike in the forest. After high tea regroup and play fun and learn games. Overnight in camp

Day-2 Day hike to Ghamana
Post breakfast set out on a Day hike to Ghamana Rock. It is a huge rock sitting on a slope of a meadow and providing birds eye view of the valley below. Return camp by lunch and free till tea. Regroup after high tea and try hands on zumaring; the ascending on rope. Evening free. Overnight in camp.

Day-3 hike to Manali wildlife sanctuary
Post breakfast head out for another day hike in opposite direction than previous day and explore the Manali wildlife sanctuary. Being the north face of the mountain, this area remains very cold in all seasons and thick undergrowth makes it a perfect habitat for the pheasants and the small mammals found here. Walk quietly without disturbing the animals and birds and this will eventually enhance our chances of witness wildlife in its charm. Return camp by lunch and free till tea. Regroup post tea and continue the zumaring. Evening free. Post dinner bonfire and then after lights off.

Day-4 Day for Rock Climbing and Rappelling
Today we trek a bit to reach the rock field and then Rock climbing and Rappelling session begins. One batch engages in the learning game while other is busy rock climbing and later the groups reverse the activities. Return camp by lunch and free till tea. Post tea regroup and walk down to market for exploring the local market and shopping. Return camp by dinner. Post dinner group discussion and then after lights off.

Day-5 Tough hike to Lamadugh with packed lunch.
Today the whole day is for the trekking. It is along and steep hike to Loma Dugh meadow. The trail is tough but the view keeps getting better as you climb high. Lomadugh meadow is a beautiful place to be one with nature and enjoy it. Although some garbage left by the previous trekkers may dishearten you. Enjoy the packed lunch. And the after some time start the long trek back to camp. Reach camp and enjoy hot cup of tea and cookies. Rest. Dinner and lights off.

Day-6 River Crossing, Shopping and Departure.
After early breakfast head to the river side for River crossing, return back to camp change and pack up the luggage. Post Lunch transfer to Manali Market for last minute shopping to buy gifts and souvenirs on time reach the Volvo stand for overnight journey to Delhi. Luggage will reach at Volvo directly from Camp.

Exclusions:

  • Any transportation cost except mentioned in the "Inclusions" head.
  • Cost of any form of insurance, rescue, evacuation, hospitalization, etc.
  • Costs incurred due to delays in arrival/departure of any means of transportation resulting from landslides, floods, or other natural or manmade causes over which MANUTOURISMCOOP has no control.

Note:
1) The above fee is applicable for a group of 30-50 students.
2) The Participation fee is Ex. Manali.
3) Students will be responsible for their valuables (Smart Phones, Cash, camera etc.)
4) Any Activity or service not availed will not be compensated in any manner.
5) We provide basic amenities such as ground beding, basic yet neat and clean toilets, hot water in bucket etc. please do not expect any luxuries..

Essentials:

  • Wear comfortable full cotton/thermal casual to track/cargo pants.
  • Wear good waterproof trekking shoes.
  • Warm and waterproof jacket is a must.
  • All the patrons will have to carry their bags so kindly bring rucksacks and not trolleys.

Don't forget to carry your backpack with:

  • Sun hat or cap
  • Sunglasses.(UV protective)
  • Sun screen lotion(SPF30+)
  • Cold Cream.
  • Head lamp or Torch (With Extra Batteries)
  • Chocolates and dry fruits as pocket snacks.
  • Water bottle with water (minimum3ltrperperson,perday)
  • Toilet Paper & kit.
  • Personal Photo Identity(Compulsory)

  • Note book & Pen
  • Camera with sufficient batteries and film/memory cards(optional)

Basic points to keep in mind for an enjoyable excursion

  • You have to carry your rucksack and please get your stuff accordingly. And we will also issue some common training equipment that you have to carry as well. No porter back up will be available.
  • Nature is fun to explore but not a toy to exploit. Respect its harmony and maintain the balance needed to retain its beauty and treasures. Please abide the specific guidelines we share with you on the trip.
  • This trip is not a regular excursion with family and friends. It is a serious adventure as it unlocks the wonderful world of nature and brings its magic alive. Do choose the trip if you can handle the adverse situation with a smile. You also have to be mentally as well as physically fit.
  • Like all outdoor trips, this one requires basic fitness. Also, you will be responsible for taking care of your personal belongings.
  • Your experience of the trip depends on a lot of factors like the climatic conditions, your health conditions and the overall physical terrain.

Disclosures on medical conditions

  • It is mandatory that you visit your personal physician before enrolling for the trip if you suffer from any illness of any kind. Please disclose any medical condition/history to the organizers of the Programme so that the best possible arrangements can be carried out post approval.
  • As organizers of the Camp, we will be responsible for providing basic first aid throughout the trip. In case of unexpected mishaps or accidents, we will arrange for the injured patron to be taken to the nearest medical hospital wherever possible. The medical expenses will have to be borne by the patrons themselves.

Note:

  • Eligibility for this Outdoor trip is 18-30 years,
  • We will try out best to follow the itinerary of the trip shared with you but bear in mind those factors out of our control that may change the schedule.

Please note that your leader has the authority to amend or cancel any part of the itinerary if it is deemed necessary due to safety concerns. Every effort will be made to keep to the above itinerary; however, since this adventure entails travelling in remote mountainous regions, we cannot guarantee that we will not deviate from it. Weather conditions, health condition of a group member, unexpected natural disasters, etc., can all contribute to changes in the itinerary. The leader will try to ensure that the trip runs according to plan, but please be prepared to be flexible if required.
